So You Want a Sus Hi Eatstation Franchise? Let's Talk.

We waited 14 years to do this. Fourteen. Robert and Teresa opened the first Dojo across from UCF on August 29, 2011, and people have been asking about franchising since roughly year two. The answer was always "not yet."

Now it's yes. As of Q4 2025, we're franchising — and honestly, we're glad we waited. Because what you'd be buying into now is a system that's been stress-tested through seven locations, a pandemic, a college market that runs until 2am, and about a thousand menu experiments.

The Numbers, Straight Up

No fluff here. Total investment runs $400K–$728K (FDD 2026, Item 7). Franchise fee is $40K — and it drops to $20K per unit starting with your fifth in a multi-unit deal. Royalty is 6% plus a 2% marketing fee.

Average gross revenue across our six company-owned Dojos? $1.24M+ (FDD 2026, Item 19). And we're doing that in 1,400–2,200 square feet of strip plaza space. No giant buildout. No sprawling kitchen. Lean.

Why the footprint matters more than you think

Small space means lower rent, faster buildout, and fewer staff on the line. We're not running a traditional sushi restaurant with a $90K sushi case and a chef who trained for a decade. We're running an assembly line built around bowls and burritos — which, fun fact, were never supposed to be our top sellers. Customers decided that for us.

Here's the Part Nobody Talks About: Nobody Else Is Doing This

Only 6.23% of US restaurants serve sushi. Six percent. Meanwhile the fast-casual sushi market is sitting north of $34 billion. That's not a crowded space — that's a wide-open one.

Compare it to burritos or burgers or coffee, where you're fighting three competitors on the same block. Most markets in this country have zero fast-casual sushi options. Zero. You'd be first.

What You Actually Get From Us

  • 35-day immersive training — you're in a real Dojo, on a real line, during real rushes
  • On-site grand opening support — we don't hand you keys and wave goodbye
  • Site selection help, build-out guidance, vendor relationships
  • Our digital ordering system (Incentivio) that already drives 58%+ of our sales)
  • The rewards app, the social playbook, all of it

And about that social thing — we've got 463K subscribers on YouTube and 42K on TikTok with 1.6M+ likes. That audience doesn't disappear when you open. It's part of what a Sus Hi Eatstation franchise brings with it.

The Menu Does Some Heavy Lifting

Our Mac & Cheese Crunch Burritos genuinely don't exist anywhere else. Neither does the Party in My Mouth Bowl (still underrated, I'll die on this hill). We've got poke, rolls, chilled noodle bowls, Krab Rangoons, Buffalo Goons, Ube Cheesecake, vegan options like the Hi-Ya! Waska Bowl.

Translation: you're not a one-trick concept. Lunch crowd, dinner crowd, late-night college crowd at 1:47am ordering a Cheet Day Burrito. Multiple dayparts, one kitchen.

Who We're Actually Looking For

Operators. People who'll be in the building. We're not chasing passive investors who want a spreadsheet — we want folks who'll learn the ninja thing, hire good Senseis, and care whether the rice is right.

If that's you, reach out. Let's have a real conversation about a Sus Hi Eatstation franchise in your market. Worst case, you learn something. Best case, you're opening Dojo number eight.
