UCF Area Restaurants: Sushi That Stays Open Till 2AM

Let's be real. You're a UCF student (or you live off Alafaya, or you just got out of a shift on University), it's 11:40pm, and you're typing something like "UCF area restaurants sushi" into your phone while your stomach makes noises. We know. We've been there — half our crew has literally been there, standing in our own parking lot.
Here's the thing: our very first Dojo opened August 29, 2011, right across the street from UCF. Not near campus. Across the street. That was on purpose.
Why We Planted the First Dojo Across From Campus
Robert and Teresa spent three years testing this concept at family sushi parties before they opened a single door. When it was time to pick a spot, they picked UCF — because college students get it. They want food fast, they want it their way, and they want it late.
Fourteen years and seven Dojos later, the UCF location is still the one that started everything. Same energy. Slightly better sauces (we've had time to work on those).
Open until 2AM. Yes, really.
Most places around campus tap out at 9 or 10. We're open till 2AM at select Dojos, and UCF is exactly the kind of neighborhood that needs it. Post-library. Post-shift. Post-going-out. Post-"I forgot to eat today." Whatever the reason, we're up.
What to Actually Order (An Opinionated List)
Most people searching UCF area restaurants sushi options are picturing rolls. Cool — we do rolls. But fun fact: bowls and burritos are our #1 sellers, and that surprised even us when we opened.
- Create Your Own Sushi Bowl — small, regular, or large. Pick your base, protein, toppings, sauces. This is the gateway order.
- Steak Mac & Cheese Crunch Burrito — if you haven't had this, I genuinely don't know what you're doing. Mac and cheese. In a sushi burrito. It shouldn't work. It absolutely does.
- Party in My Mouth Bowl 🌶 — the most underrated thing on our menu, and I will argue about this.
- Boom Boom Shrimp Bowl 🌶 — safe pick that never misses.
- Krab Rangoons + Truffle Rice Tots — order both. Don't overthink it.
Vegan? The Hi-Ya! Waska Bowl and Livin' on the Veg roll are legit, not afterthoughts.
Skip the line like a Ninja
More than half our orders come in digitally now, which means the smart move is ordering ahead and walking past everybody. Grab it on our site or the rewards app (iOS and Android) and stack points while you're at it. Free food later is still free food.
The Real Reason Students Keep Coming Back

We call our spots Dojos, our team Ninjas, our managers Senseis. It's a little ridiculous. That's the point.
